Skins!

I've recently become obsessed with the show, Skins. In case you aren't from the UK, skins is about sixth formers going to parties, doing drugs, being mentally ill, etc. Its basically Degrassi, but better. The party scenes are soooo cool (see video above), and make me want to go to them. They're making a US adaptaption on MTV though from what I saw of the trailer it is a complete rip-off (same lines, characters, camera angles, etc...)

Ke$ha, I know she's a crazy drunken (CENSORED) , but her style is pretty cool. I like how her style is all against the rules and she doesn't care. The main pieces of her style is Glitter, Animal Print, and Native American Fringe (I also threw in Glow in the Dark Paint for the fun of it)!

A Tale in 2 Parts

Part 1

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Lydia. She loved reading fashion and beauty magazines. She even had a blog to talk about these topics, there weren't many visitors but she was allright with that. The one thing that made her very, very annoyed was eye makeup! You see, young Lydia didn't really know how to apply it properly, and when she did it didn't look very cool. Lydia dreamed of a day when she could have smoky eyes like the celebs in her magazines. She read lots of beauty books and blogs, and watched many beauty vlogs, but none of them showed her properly how to apply eye shadow (a problem she was having a huge dilemma with). After many weeks of trying she simply gave up.

Part 2

Many months later, toward the end of school there was a ball coming up. It was called the Graduation Dance. Lydia picked a hot dress and shoes, but alas her make-up was so-so! That was until she walked into Claire's Accesories looking for a headband. She stumbled upon a makeup kit that taught you how to actually create a smoky eye! She jumped for joy and bought it immediatly. That night she created her own smoky eye, and lived happily ever after!!!!!
